About Us

Established in 1939, incorporated in 1977, and becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2011, the Banner Lake Club has a long history of serving the community.

The organization operates and maintains a Community Center that offers a variety of programs and services designed to positively and transformatively impact the lives of children, teens, and adults in the Banner Lake community and beyond.

Guided by four key pillars—Banner Lake Academy, BLA Early Learning Center, BLA Outreach, and BLAST—our programs focus on education, community support, and personal growth. From early childhood education to after-school mentorship, outreach services, and lifelong learning opportunities, each pillar plays a vital role in strengthening the Banner Lake community. Through these initiatives, we empower individuals and families, fostering a brighter future for all.

Our Mission

The Banner Lake Club aspires to end the intergenerational cycle of poverty by meeting the ever-evolving needs of our community and guiding families throughout all their life stages on a path toward self-sufficiency. By providing individualized programs, we can connect with them as early as six weeks old so we can help the course of their lives by providing high quality education in an intimate setting.
