FCIS Accreditation

6/18/25, 5:00 PM

We are proud to announce that Banner Lake Academy has officially received accreditation from the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS) — a significant milestone in our journey of educational excellence.

What does FCIS Accreditation mean?

FCIS is one of the most respected accrediting organizations for independent schools in the state of Florida. Earning this accreditation means that Banner Lake Academy has met and continues to uphold rigorous standards in areas such as academic quality, leadership, governance, safety, finances, and community engagement. This process involved a comprehensive self-study, peer evaluation, and ongoing commitment to continuous improvement.

What this means for our school:
Validation of Excellence: FCIS accreditation affirms that Banner Lake Academy provides a high-quality education in a safe, supportive, and mission-driven environment.

Accountability and Growth: It demonstrates our commitment to continuous reflection and improvement in all areas of our school.

Recognition and Trust: Families, educators, and partner organizations can have greater confidence in the integrity and impact of our program.

Stronger Opportunities: Accreditation opens doors to additional funding, partnerships, and resources that benefit our students and community.

This achievement reflects the dedication of our staff, leadership, families, and supporters. It’s a powerful step forward as we continue to empower students and make a lasting impact in our community.
We thank you for being part of this exciting chapter in Banner Lake Academy’s story!
